Q. What is the deadline to register for BankTravel 2011?
A. Bankers register throughout the year, however the deadline for banks will be January 15, 2011. Travel Industry members of BankTravel have guaranteed registration availability until June 15, 2010. We accept registration to fill any open availability with a limit of 250 travel industry delegates

Q. What airport should I fly into?
A. Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport, airline code (BTR). The Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport is serviced by most major airlines. 

Q. Will there be shuttle service from Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport to the conference hotel?
A. Yes, BankTravel and Baton Rouge CVB will provide shuttles from the airport to all OFFICIAL BankTravel hotels.

Q. When will you need my flight/travel information?
A. Before January 15, 2011. Flight schedules are requested to insure that there are shuttles available when you arrive and to alleviate any long delays in getting you to your hotel. Q. When can I make my hotel reservations?
A. Now! Travel Industry: simply call (225) 344-5866 for the Hilton Baton Rouge Captiol Center or (225) 378-6151 for the Sheraton Baton Rouge Convention Center and request your BankTravel Conference special rate.  The special rate is available until January 15, 2011.  Bankers: your reservation is included in the conference reservation.

Q. Is my hotel room included in my registration?
Bankers: Room and tax are included in your registration fee for February 6 and 7 only. Incidental charges are the responsibility of the individual delegate. Upon check in a major credit card will be requested from the hotel for incidentals.
Travel Industry: Hotel rooms and incidental charges are the responsibility of all travel industry delegates.

Q. If I want to stay additional nights, what is the procedure?
A. Simply call the BankTravel offices at 330-332-3841 by January 19, 2011. BankTravel will reserve your additional room nights and you can handle payment upon check-in.

Q. What is the attire for the conference?
A. Business attire is required at all daytime events. Evening events, unless otherwise specified, are business/casual.

Q. What is the weather like in Baton Rouge in February?
A. Baton Rouge weather can be a bit brisk this time of year; HOWEVER, BankTravel is COMPLETELY ENCLOSED.
